Edward Snowden: Blowing the Whistle on Government Criminality
Edward Snowden’s revelations about U.S. government spying on virtually every American with a cell phone and an internet connection blew the lid off liberal pretensions that the Obama administration is in any respect better than the Bush administration on civil liberties.
While some liberals like Sen. Diane Feinstein and other Obama administration apparatchiks predictably attacked Snowden with the same viciousness that they attacked wikileaks whistle-blower Chelsea Manning, the breathtaking scope of the spying revealed by him forced others like former Vice President Gore to say that the government was engaged in unconstitutional behavior.
Watch as the Gay Liberation Network’s Bob Schwartz and Roger Fraser discuss the implications of the biggest American spying operation in history.
