Durham is a unionist, openly gay, and a socialist feminist. They discuss why the teachers’ strike has national implications for labor, and demonstrate why not just Republicans, but the Democrats too are anti-labor. Arne Duncan’s and Barack Obama’s “Race to the Top” and “Teach for America” policies are every bit as anti-labor as George Bush’s policies before them.
