Alt Q Festival: A Celebration of LGBT Music and Performance

The Gay Liberation Network’s Scott Free discusses Chicago’s premiere LGBT music/performance event, Alt Q, which aims to bring together leading Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Trans performers in one venue each year.

For too many years, street fairs and entertainment events aimed at LGBT patrons have featured primarily, or even exclusively non-gay performers, thus failing to truly support our LGBT community. Alt Q, initiated and led by Scott Free, aims to correct that imbalance.
