Celebrating Harvey Milk

Harvey Milk was one of the most prominent gay activists in history, successful in leading the fight to defeat an anti-gay ballot initiative in California three decades before Proposition 8.

Tragically he was gunned down by an anti-gay assassin in 1978.

In this program Anthony Martinez of LGBT Change and the Gay Liberation Network’s Brent Holman-Gomez discuss Milk’s legacy and a series of actions by local organizations designed to build on that history.
