Honduras: Organizing for LGBT & Other Human Rights Since the Coup

Last month the Gay Liberation Network’s Buddy Bell visited Honduras as part of a solidarity delegation organized by the Alliance for Global Justice.

As Buddy recounts, LGBT’s have been among the most prominent leaders of the pro-democracy movement there, and are widely recognized among the opposition for their role in fighting for human rights for all. Here he gives a first-hand account of the brutality committed by the U.S.-backed coup government, plus updates on the human rights situation there since he left.
