Organizing Against U.S.A. Torture

Upon inauguration, President Obama’s first promise to the American people was to shut down the infamous Guantanamo Bay prison.

Not only did Obama break that promise, he has managed to make the United States’ record on civil liberties violations even worse than under George W. Bush.

The Gay Liberation Network’s Buddy Bell took part in a series of high-profile anti-torture actions in Washington and discusses with them with Andy Thayer.
