Undocumented and Unafraid

Like LGBT’s, undocumented immigrants are all too often treated as political footballs by politicians of both major parties.

The Democratic Party claims to stand up to the racism of mainstream Republicanism, but then the Obama administration spent the last three-and-a-half years deporting more people than any other administration in history.

To call attention to this and other injustices, undocumented youth activists have traveled the country in the “UndocuBus,” carrying out civil disobedience actions in localities with particularly discriminatory laws, and at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC.

UndocuBus activist Nadia Sol Ireri Unzueta Carrasco joins host Buddy Bell of the Gay Liberation Network and Voices for Creative Non-violence.
